The Advanced Industry Marketing Specialist Retail will take ownership of the marketing strategy and execution for North America Retail, focusing on account-based marketing to engage and convert high-value tier 1 and tier 2 retail clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in ABM, digital marketing, and customer engagement to deliver impactful, personalized campaigns that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Account-Based Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and execute an ABM strategy tailored to high-value retail accounts, focusing on personalized engagement and measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to identify and prioritize target accounts.
- Create and maintain detailed account profiles, including key decision-makers, business needs, and pain points.
- Design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, digital ads, events, and direct mail) targeted at specific accounts and buying groups.
Campaign Development & Execution:
- Monitor and analyze campaign and marketing vehicle performance, adjusting strategies to optimize engagement and ROI.
Sales Alignment & Enablement:
- Partner closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with account plans and revenue goals.
- Provide sales teams with tailored content, insights, and tools to enhance account-level engagement.
Customer Insights & Personalization:
- Leverage data and analytics to deliver hyper-personalized marketing experiences for target accounts.
- Conduct regular market research to understand the unique challenges and opportunities within the North American retail sector.
Content Creation & Localization:
- Work with internal and external teams to create account-specific content, including whitepapers, case studies, and executive presentations.
- Adapt global marketing materials to meet the cultural and industry-specific needs of North American retailers.
Event Management & Thought Leadership:
- Plan and execute targeted events, webinars, and account-specific workshops to engage decision-makers.
- Partner with internal teams to position the company as a thought leader in retail technology through speaking opportunities, panel discussions, and sponsored content.
Digital Marketing Expertise:
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including account-based retargeting, social selling, and intent data utilization.
- Use ABM tools and platforms (e.g., Demandbase, 6sense, Terminus) to manage and scale account-based campaigns.
Metrics & Reporting:
- Establish KPIs to measure the success of ABM initiatives, including pipeline influence, deal velocity, and account engagement.
- Deliver regular performance reports and actionable insights to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 6-8 years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 3 years specializing in Account-Based Marketing.
- Proven track record in driving marketing success within the IT or technology sector, targeting tier 1 and tier 2 retailers.
- Strong understanding of ABM strategies, tools, and platforms (e.g., Demandbase, HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Experience in aligning marketing strategies with sales goals to drive order bookings and revenue growth.
- Knowledge of the North American retail landscape, including key challenges faced by tier 1 and tier 2 retailers.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Analytical mindset with a results-driven approach and proficiency in marketing analytics.
Salary Range: $85,000 to $105,000. Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including your qualifications, skills, competencies, geographic location, internal equity, and relevant experience. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the plan and/or program, whereby an award, if any, may depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
