Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Guam Remote Station (GRS) located on Camp Blaz, Guam for the Space Exploration Network Services and Evolution Contract (SENSE), supporting our NASA customer. GRS is one of four operational and diverse ground terminals that comprise the NASA SN Ground Segment. GRS provides the TTC link for two Tracking and Data Relay Satellite (TDRS) and associated equipment and data paths for missions supported through the SN.
As a GRS Administrative Assistant, you will administer programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the operating unit. You’ll also provide administrative support for the management and technical staff at the site and will serve as an alternate COMSEC Account Manager providing accountability and maintenance of the Cryptographic equipment at the site.
This position is responsibilities for:
- Assist in budget preparation and control activities
- Perform advanced, diversified and confidential secretarial and administrative duties requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of organization policies and practices, prepares correspondence, memoranda and reports
- Compose and may initiate routine correspondence and memoranda
- Screens telephone calls and visitors, and resolves routine and some complex inquiries
- Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings and travel itineraries, and coordinates related arrangements
- Prepares and distributes minutes of meetings
- Monitors status of various operational supports
- Analyzes data and prepares various informational reports/summaries to internal/external customers
- Coordinates administrative computing, networking and telecommunications services
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Provide administrative support to Management and Technical staff with office management responsibilities to include budgeting, personnel records and travel arrangements
- Serve as the Training Coordinator for site training and certifications
- Serve as the alternate COMSEC account manager providing control and accountability for the cryptographic equipment
- Manage the site office supply budgets and procurement
- Support the development of contract deliverable documentation
- Monitor and communicate changes in SN policies, report requirements, and direction
Qualifications
Required Experience
- AS/AA degree and 1 yr experience; in lieu of degree, 3+ years of related experience is allowable.
- Prior experience supporting technical personnel and programs
- Prior experience managing office budgets
- Prior experience maintaining files and records
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office tools
- Must possess and maintain a valid United States driver’s license
- Must be a US Citizen and show proof of citizenship
- Security clearance – Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance
Desired Experience
- Prior experience with NASA and or NASA’s Space Network
- Prior experience with COMSEC equipment
- An active Secret security clearance

Target Salary Range
$39,000 - $62,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
