Job Description

Allstate Insurance Company is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Agency Sales organization. This opportunity is homebased and fast-paced. In this role, you will support varies Sales Leaders, District Sales Leaders, and sales teams. The Administrative Assistant provides varied administrative support by applying in-depth knowledge of department policy and organization. Additionally, managing multiple calendars, expenses, meeting planning, ability to prioritize and problem solving will be part of this not at all boring opportunity. Proficiency in Microsoft office suite skills in Word, Excel and Presentation will be needed. The ability to manage and prioritize tasks will be important.

Key Responsibilities

• Handles multiple demands on an on-going basis including difficult situations

• Assimilates, gathers and summarizes detailed information for a response/decision

• Trains and leads routine work processes

• Experience in managing expense reports

• Manage license issues and partner with compliance teams

• Manage, coordinate and assist with events and special initiatives

• Work under general direction and independently

• Prepares presentations independently

• Utilizes required standard and specialized software applications

• Identifies, initiates, recommends, and implements corrective action within department

• Identifies and recommends opportunities for improvement

Education

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)

Experience

• 0-2 years’ experience (Preferred)

• Insurance industry knowledge (Preferred)

Education & Experience (in lieu)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $19.81 - 33.80 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
