About this Position
We are seeking an experienced Acumatica Solutions Engineer with a strong background in the construction industry. This role involves working with clients, sales, and consulting teams to design and implement ERP solutions tailored to the unique needs of construction businesses. From lead tracking and job costing to field service management and accounting, you’ll play a key role in delivering Acumatica Construction Edition solutions that streamline operations for our customers.
Job Responsibilities
Solution Design & Recommendation:
- Recommend ERP solutions tailored to construction-specific needs, such as project management, work orders, timecards, and scheduling.
- Conduct discovery sessions using Selling Through Curiosity methodologies to identify client pain points and business goals.
Product Demonstrations:
- Create and deliver compelling product demos showcasing Acumatica’s ability to address challenges specific to construction businesses.
- Engage diverse audiences by telling relatable, industry-specific stories that illustrate the benefits of Acumatica.
Implementation Expertise:
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure technical resources are effectively assigned, and deliverables meet construction project requirements.
- Develop detailed process and data models specific to construction workflows, including job costing, subcontractor management, and field service.
Best Practices & Process Improvement:
- Develop and enforce best practices for ERP implementations in the construction sector.
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to recommend improvements to client systems and processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with consulting, project management, and sales teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions aligned with customer needs.
Client Success:
- Build lasting relationships with construction clients, ensuring the ERP solution supports their business goals and enhances overall operations.
Job Requirements
Construction Industry Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, ERP Consultant, or Technical Consultant, with a focus on the construction industry.
- Deep understanding of construction workflows, including project management, estimating, job costing, subcontractor management, and field services.
ERP Expertise:
- Proven experience with Acumatica or similar ERP solutions, with the ability to manage full lifecycle implementations.
- Demonstrated success in designing ERP solutions for construction businesses, addressing their unique challenges.
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Ability to create high-level solution designs and estimates based on limited requirements.
- Skilled in developing and delivering engaging demos for internal and external audiences.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel throughout North America as needed.

This is a virtual position open to candidates based in the United States or Canada.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $95,000 to $125,000.
This position is also eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
