The Senior Commercial Account Manager role is integral to our dynamic Customer Development team at Mimecast, where we seek an exceptional individual with robust sales acumen. What you’ll do
Our Customer Development team operates within a high-velocity sales environment that is experiencing rapid growth, focusing on nurturing existing Mimecast accounts within the defined territory.
- Achieve monthly / quarterly / annual upsell revenue
- Responsible for mitigating Downsell and Churn in your book of business
- Ability to forecast accurately for Upsell, Downsell and Churn on a rolling 6 months
- Work with the Partner / Channel Development team to develop and execute against account plans
- Develop and execute against sales activity plans in order to achieve the agreed revenue quota
What you’ll bring
An in-depth understanding of the corporate technology landscape, including cloud computing, would be advantageous. Crucially, a strong work ethic is essential to thrive in this competitive marketplace. The ideal candidate will flourish in our fast-paced, agile, yet well-structured sales environment, characterized by continuous innovation and evolution.
- IT sales experience (ideally within Email / Messaging / Security / Storage - but not essential)
- Experience in both Direct & In-Direct sales roles.
- Understanding of Corporate IT teams and their buying processes
- Strong business / commercial acumen
