Account Manager (Mid-Atlantic)

Symmetrio is recruiting for an Account Manager for our customer, a large global medical device company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling high-dollar capital equipment and software solutions to hospitals and health systems within the Mid-Atlantic Territory, covering Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth. Previous experience selling into hospitals, IDNs, and healthcare systems is a MUST.
Total compensation ranges from $250,000 to $280,000 OTE.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with current customers, identify new customers and develop relationships for the purpose of selling solutions.
- Develop sales plans to expand market share within the assigned territory.
- Selling in a TEAM environment, utilizing specialists, managers and other relevant team members when needed.
- Stay abreast of changes in the marketplace, market trends and dynamics within the territory and the industry.
- Give presentations and coordinate product demonstrations.
- Work with marketing, product development, product management and other departments providing timely feedback on products and issues.
Skills and Knowledge
- Results oriented to ensure achievement of the sales targets, customer satisfaction and market share goals
- Experience with sales quotas, forecasting, and selling in a complex healthcare environment.
- Successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Product knowledge and ability to effectively conduct presentation and demos.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred.
- 5 years' experience in sales role, healthcare field preferred.
- Willing to travel up to 50% of the time
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
