Job Description

We’re looking for a dedicated and personable account manager to maintain client accounts and serve as our main point of contact. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a drive for providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining the client’s overall level of satisfaction with all our services. You will also handle a set client list for their day-to-day service requests as well as the pricing and equipment selection for both major and minor projects. Other responsibilities include:

  • Serve as primary technical and sales liaison between us and our clients. 
  • Manage the Client’s technical proposal process and ensure that all technical information and recommendations addressing client requirements are accurate, properly defined, and detailed.
  • Prepare and deliver annual IT budgets for clients, as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Develop relationships with technical product vendors to build product sales and support capabilities. 
  • Overseeing onboarding and offboarding of customer assets in regard to operational service delivery and contract maintenance.
  • Prepare and present project, service, and product quotes for clients.
  • Perform research on technologies and solutions using internal and external resources to understand the nuances of different technologies and solutions.

Qualifications

  • 2-4+ years of account management experience preferably with an MSP or IT services industry background.
  • Experience with technology as well as a high-level understanding of server and network environments.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage numerous concurrent priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient with audits, spreadsheets, and other productivity software.
  • Must have experience using the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Communicate effectively in both business and technical contexts, through verbal and written mediums.
  • High level of professionalism including confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for others.
  • Basic technical and troubleshooting knowledge is a bonus.
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who can thrive in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of their collaborative start-up culture.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
