Tokio Marine HCC - Under supervision, you will aid the Vice President of the Agency, as well as existing and potential clients, with service needs and making changes to existing accounts

Key Responsibilities

Relying on limited experience and knowledge, this role is responsible for accomplishing the following assignments. These assignments are varied in nature and frequently non-routine.

  • Provide support to Vice President (VP); specifically, in monitoring client needs, coverage forms, and quotations and keep VP up-to-date with any issues or concerns.

  • Occasionally accompany VP on prospect and client meetings as requested.

  • Obtain completed applications from VP and submit to eligible and appropriate carriers; follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.

  • Learn process for completing orders and issue binders, certificates, policies, endorsements and other related items; verify the accuracy; forward items to clients with appropriate correspondence.

  • Direct agency billing and invoices accordingly.

  • Review policy and policy change information, forwarding to VP for changes and corrections when needed.

  • Process incoming mail and phone requests, responding promptly and appropriately.

  • Use agency credit and collection policy in invoicing and pursuing prompt payments; request cancellations from the carrier according to agency standards.

  • Determine reasons for requests for cancellations; act to save accounts; notify VP accordingly.

  • Process and follow up on cancellation requests to carriers to ensure accurate and timely

    Position Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements

    • Minimum High School or GED

    • Preferred 4-year bachelor's degree

    • 2 years relevant and progressive experience in area of specialization

    For candidates working in person or remotely in the following locations, the reasonable pay range for this specific position is New York, NY & Encino, CA, $40,760 - $50,670 annually and  Mount Kisco, New York, $49,000 - $53,000 annually.   The salary offered for this specific position is based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company.
