Get to Know the Opportunity:
The Voya Wealth Administration Technology Group supporting the Voya Workplace Solutions business is looking to find an experienced IT Professional to lead large, complex, multi-workstream technology Initiatives focused on New Client Implementations and Data Conversions. This role will include oversight and accountability of the identified deliverables associated to the respective Technology Initiative that may, in part, be performed by IT Delivery Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA Analysts. The IT Director for Implementation / Data Conversion will lead large programs staffed with senior individual contributors and be directly responsible for results produced by the team to achieve exceptional outcomes.
The Contributions You'll Make:
- You will supervise IT project teams with specialists to ensure results meet / exceed customer expectations and adhere to internal IT standards, methodologies, and strategies.
- You will troubleshoot special problems and lead performance improvement efforts based on a solid understanding of the technical concepts, methods, and practices applied by reporting staff.
- You will collaborate with the team, IT colleagues, IT leadership, business colleagues, senior business leaders and external clients to identify customer requirements, assess impacts to other data, systems, products or services, compare costs and benefits, consider available technologies and processes and recommends solutions.
- This role includes program/project monitoring and status reporting to IT and Business Management.
- You will develop and manage business plan(s) and estimation/budget(s) for Technology Initiatives; identifies resource needs and develop supporting justifications for them, as needed.
- Your ability to achieve successful deliverables and outcomes associated to large technology programs with multiple work streams using strong project management skills will be required.
- Your will monitor and contribute to the management of the IT project financials and the IT resource demand and capacity.
- You will present to IT and Business Leadership at steering and advisory level meetings.
- Experience interacting and communicating status to external clients.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a directly related field
- Ten years of progressively responsible experience in IT in an applications development and/or technology implementation environment supporting/leading large technology projects.
- Demonstrated success in project management and execution with involvement in multiple major projects or a sustained record of success delivering complex IT services to a diverse clientele.
- Financial Services experience
- Experience or knowledge of Workplace (Retirement) Recordkeeping systems.
- Knowledge of OMNI Recordkeeping Applications and associated peripheral applications that support Workplace Solutions

Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
