Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workplace Investigator to join our team. The successful candidate will conduct thorough and impartial investigations into workplace issues such as harassment, discrimination, and other violations of company policies. This role requires a high level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Essential Job Functions (Responsibilities will include but are not limited to):
- Conduct remote interviews with employees, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather information and evidence
- Analyze and evaluate evidence, including documents, emails, and other records
- Prepare detailed investigation reports with findings and recommendations
- Maintain accurate and organized case files
- Collaborate with HR, legal, and other departments as necessary
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and ethical guidelines
- Provide testimony in legal proceedings if required
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in workplace investigations.
Requirements
Requirements: This position must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Advanced degree preferredĀ·Ā
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in conducting workplace investigations, preferably in issues related to harassment and discrimination
- Certification in workplace investigations or related fields (e.g., AWI-CH, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in using investigation management software and tools
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to conduct interviews via video conferencing platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
