The Workday Senior Consultant – Reporting & Analytics, Financials is primarily responsible for engineering analytics solutions for Strada's Workday HCM and FInancials clients. Primary focus in this role will be on Financials related data. This role ensures timely and quality execution of client deliverables and consulting with Strada clients on Workday projects. Candidates should possess a broad understanding of cross functional touchpoints and their impacts within the Workday system to effectively develop reporting solutions to complex problems/projects across multiple domains or clients.  Consults without supervision on complex reporting projects and/or lead Medium Enterprise or Large Enterprise projects depending on domain area(s) specialty.  Participates in client sales meetings as a Reporting Subject Matter Expert.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently consults with external clients and participates in all stages of the Workday reporting project lifecycle, from planning and design phases through testing and deployment for Workday applications by developing solutions to complex problems/projects across multiple domains or clients.
  • Effectively leads small to large client deliverables from start to finish across multiple, concurrent projects utilizing Strada’s quality standards and consulting methodology.
  • Integrates with other areas across Strada and functions to provide a complete solution.
  • Consults on impact of decisions to operating post-implementation and downstream systems.
  • Listens to the client request, assesses actual client need, provides subject matter expertise, proposes alternatives, and recommends solution(s). Depending on scope of project, may coach team members to execute same.
  • Frequently discusses, and can articulate to clients, lessons learned from previous client experience, Workday best practices as well as Strada's Point of View.
  • Depending on scope of project, may coach team members to execute same.
  • Proactively identifies trouble spots for client and recommends solutions.
  • Significantly contributes to the development of internal resources via mentoring, coaching, and directing work.
  • Develops working relationships with other members of project team and management as well as external clients. Shares reporting knowledge and information through regular communications and facilitation.


Knowledge, Education, Certification, Skills & Technical Proficiencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in technical, business, analytics, or financial discipline
  • 4 - 5 years relevant work experience required; reporting experience required with advanced reporting, including matrix reporting, composite reporting, etc.
  • 2+ years of Workday experience required
  • 1 - 2 years of leading work through others
  • Experience defining system requirements and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
  • Experience in managing the technical design of one or more projects
  • Demonstrated understanding of relational database concepts, data modeling and data visualization, DW and BI concepts
  • Relational and Object Oriented HCM and Financial experience a plus
  • Cognos, Tableau, or Power BI experience a plus
  • Proven consultative skills to guide client and internal discussions to agreement of reporting solutions in a timely manner
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages
  • Recognizes and tackles difficult conversations proactively.  Strong soft skills that facilitate resolution and win-win approach
  • Experience implementing complex, practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
  • Demonstrated advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated commitment and achievement to delivery excellence and client satisfaction
  • This role does not support sponsorship
  • Travel up to 10% annually
  • Workday Financials certified required
  • Workday Prism Analytics certified strongly preferred
  • Workday certification as well as on-going successful re-certification is a requirement of the role.  Certifications in Reporting, Composite Reporting, BIRT layouts, etc. highly desired

Minimum :

90,200 USD

Maximum :

143,100 USD
