Overview:
FHI 360 has an exciting internship opportunity for a student interested in growing their skills within the international development sector. Under close supervision, an Intern will perform entry level professional duties which will provide the opportunity for professional training in various functional areas throughout the organization. Internship assignments serve to offer practical experience and broad exposure to a global nonprofit development organization.

In the 50 years since our founding, the ways in which individuals and communities navigate work and learning have transformed dramatically. NIWL is housed under the U.S. Business Unit.
As a Workforce Development Intern, you will assist in the creation, implementation, and evaluation of programs aimed at enhancing the skills, employability, and career readiness of individuals. This internship offers hands-on experience in workforce development initiatives and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that positively impact individuals' lives.
Under NIWL’s supervision, the Intern will assist in project research and resource development for our Workforce Development programming. This is a paid internship with a flexible schedule based on project needs.
Anticipated Duration: late August/early September - December 2024
Hours: Part time, up to 30 hours per week
Location: Remote (US)
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour for undergraduate students and recent graduates, $23.00/hour - $25.00/hour for graduate students and recent graduates.

Anticipated Project(s) and Assignment Details:
The intern may contribute to various project activities under the direction of their supervisor in the following ways:
Review and update Workforce and Apprenticeship resources.
Research employer engagement and workforce readiness curriculum and best practices.
Assist in researching to define, provide examples, and a written policy statement for effectively using comprehensive case management plans and validated criminogenic risk assessments.
Support any global or live events as needed
Participate in meetings with NIWL teams to learn about learning and workforce development strategies and …
