Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Cleans floors in the following areas: Kitchen, service areas, restrooms, storerooms, and dining rooms
- Uses mops and floor machines as required
- Sweeps appropriate areas when needed
- Breaks down cans and boxes and places them in the appropriate bins
- Cleans up broken plates, glassware, and cookware
- Replaces and restocks milks when needed
- Removes refuse from the following areas of the dining center: kitchen, service areas, restrooms, dining rooms, storerooms, and locker rooms
- Cleans carts, tables, and chairs
- Rinses and sanitizes garbage cans
- Maintains orderliness of the storerooms, coolers, and freezers
- Stocks various inventory items in the kitchen, restrooms, and dining rooms: fills soap and towel dispensers and replaces light bulbs
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customers

Minimum Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to stand on one's feet for 3-4 hours
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to work with the preparation and disposal of fish, poultry, beef, lamb, pork, and other meat products in professional culinary commercial kitchen
- Must be able to adhere to all safety and sanitation policies which include removal of all jewelry and piercings (except for a plain wedding bands) while working in our facilities
- Hairnets and beard restraints are also a requirement in our food preparation areas
- Incumbents should have an optimistic attitude, willingness to learn new skills, high degree of integrity, and a strong work ethic
- Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
