What this role is all about:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Website Marketing Specialist, to join our team for a 12-month term. The Website Marketing Specialist supports Beem’s vision by providing quality brand and marketing services through our website and electronic channels. This role involves developing our electronic channels and e-Commerce solutions, and overseeing, contributing to, and maintaining our corporate website. 

This role is open to remote working arrangements within B.C.

What you’ll do:

  • Digital Banking Roadmap: Develop and maintain Beem’s electronic banking roadmap to introduce features that members desire. 
  • SEO: The process of getting traffic from free, organic, editorial or natural search results in search engines. It aims to improve your website's position in search results pages (SERPs). 
  • Service Standards: Develop, implement, and monitor service standards for our website, ensuring key messages are consistent with the Beem brand. 
  • Website Management: Oversee all aspects of the Beem website and electronic channels, including: 
    • Monitoring standard graphics 
    • Developing, implementing, and maintaining advertising, financial content, literacy tools, web pages, links, resources, and images 
    • Usage reporting and tracking 
    • Providing recommendations to enhance the online experience and engagement 
    • Managing online member feedback tools 
    • Maintaining the website Content Management Tool 
  • Web Communications: Develop and deliver web communications, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and web guidelines/practices. Act as a key resource in implementing crisis communications. 
  • Feature Testing: Represent Beem in testing new features/functionality developed by Central1 for electronic banking channels. 
  • Security and Privacy: Ensure the security and privacy of our electronic banking channels and manage privacy regulations related to electronic member communications. 
  • Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitor research and maintain a library of competitor information on their electronic channel offerings. 
  • Usability Recommendations: Provide recommendations on overall electronic channel usability to enhance the electronic experience for members. 
  • RFPs and Consultant Selection: Prepare RFPs and enhancement requests for electronic partners and participate in the selection process of consultants. 
  • Strategy Development: Assist the Manager in developing strategies, plans, information, reports, and presentations. 
  • Intranet Content: Develop and maintain marketing content for the corporate Intranet. 
  • Enhancing member engagement:  Support the implementation of email marketing and automation for trigger-based marketing and drip sequences.  Create effective email templates, conduct A/B testing, and deploy based on experimental results.  

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma requiring 3-4 years of full-time study or equivalent, including marketing designations. 
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of job-related experience in interactive marketing, electronic channels, e-Commerce, website marketing, or related field.
  • Experience with Website management, content management skills.
  • Research and development skills around new electronic features and functionality. 
  • Exceptional computer literacy (MS Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Research and keep abreast of website best practices. 
  • Versed in analytics on cross channel usage.  

                What you’ll gain:

                • The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000.
