Our opportunity:

The Vice President of Revenue Marketing will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth by developing and executing a strategic revenue marketing plan that aligns with quarterly and annual objectives. This leader will oversee a wide range of marketing functions, from lead generation and demand creation to pipeline acceleration, ensuring all efforts are effectively integrated across channels. Leading a high-performing team, the VP will foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, working closely with sales, product management, and other stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with the broader go-to-market strategy.

Key responsibilities include setting and evaluating KPIs, optimizing marketing budgets to maximize ROI, and exploring new channels and technologies to enhance customer acquisition. In collaboration with content marketing, this role will shape campaign strategies to reach key buyer segments at every stage of their journey. Additionally, the VP will lead and develop the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team, ensuring its success through focused hiring, training, and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates bring a strong analytical mindset, proven B2B SaaS marketing experience, and a track record of delivering impactful demand-generation and account-based marketing campaigns.

You will make an impact by being responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive revenue marketing strategy that supports quarterly and annual growth targets. This includes the full spectrum of revenue marketing capabilities: lead generation, demand generation, lead nurturing, and pipeline acceleration programs across channels
  • Leading and mentoring a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Ensure team members are aligned with the company's business goals and market strategies
  • Working closely with sales, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with the overall go-to-market strategy
  • Establishing KPIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies. Providing regular analysis and reports to stakeholders, identifying insights and action plans for continuous improvement
  • Overseeing marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI on marketing investments
  • Continuously exploring new marketing channels and technologies to enhance lead generation and customer acquisition efforts
  • In partnership with content marketing, defining overall campaign strategy and structure.  Mapping campaigns to buyer segments and journeys, delivering the right content at the right time to build and progress pipeline. 
  • End-to-end leadership and management of SDR team.  Includes hiring, enablement, ongoing improvement, and reporting

You will be a great fit if you have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA preferred 
  • 10+ years of experience in revenue-impacting marketing roles within high-growth B2B SaaS environments
  • Proven track record in leading successful demand generation and account-based marketing campaigns
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams of 5+ direct reports. Demonstrated ability to inspire trust and collaboration across sales and marketing functions 
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce), CRM systems, AI tools, and data analytics platforms
  • Strong analytical abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Ability to interpret complex data sets to inform strategic decisions 

You excel in these key competencies: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex ideas clearly to both internal teams and external partners
  • This leader must understand the process of engaging with customers and how to work with sellers to turn opportunities into revenue.  At the same time, this leader must also be able to bride into the rest of the marketing team to define their requirements to be successful
  • This leader should possess strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize high-impact opportunities and approaches. Equally important, they should be hands-on, willing to dive into execution to test and refine their strategies

The base salary range for this position in California, New York, and Washington is $270,000 – $290,000 and outside of those locations is $260,000 – 280,000 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
