The anticipated salary range for this role is between $119,000.00 and $160,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualification, experiences, and analysis of current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC MANUBANK offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

SUMMARY:
We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Product Marketer to own the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our Jenius Bank Deposit and Lending products. In this role, you’ll craft and execute marketing strategies that drive adoption, engagement, and retention of our products, ensuring our customers recognize and experience its full value.
You will leverage deep consumer and market insights to create compelling narratives that differentiate our products and drive growth. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires collaboration across marketing, product, finance, and data teams to deliver breakthrough campaigns and optimize the customer
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and manage end-to-end Go-to-Market strategy for your product areas, including messaging, positioning, campaign planning, acquisition channels, customer adoption and retention
- Lead development and execution of ongoing digital (i.e. digital display, social, email, DM) customer campaigns and testing initiatives for the target segment
- Collaborate with Product teams to understand total business performance and build on analysis to identify new opportunities and adjust marketing/ testing strategies
- Influence internal decision makers with formal recommendations and informal networking through excellent communication
- Serve as marketing lead and key liaison with cross-functional teams including partners from: Product (P&L owners), Research, Legal etc.
- Drive Customer Acquisition & Retention: Work closely with channel marketing teams to develop integrated campaigns that deeper customer engagement
- Conduct consumer & market Research: Lead quantitative and qualitative research to uncover consumer needs, motivations, and barriers to adoption. Translate these insights into marketing strategies
- Develop a detailed understanding of the customer acquisition funnel, personas, and use cases to drive marketing asset development
- Define market research and customer intelligence projects with internal teams and external vendors to harvest insights and inform campaigns
- Synthesize marketing trends, competitive landscape, and macro external factors to identify new strategic recommendations to improve results and Brand impact
- Work with marketing team members to connect Martech capabilities to marketing possibilities across targeting, creative, and experience journeys that leverage high CX moments
- Measure & Report Impact: Define and track key performance metrics, ensuring marketing efforts are driving measurable impact on adoption, engagement, and retention
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7+ years of proven financial marketing experience
- Experience marketing new products and or overseeing product campaigns
- Excellent project management skills with a history of successfully driving projects to completion
- Experience in fast paced growth environments
- An entrepreneurial spirit, initiative, leadership, creativity, balance of proactive and reactiveness and drive for results
- Able to manage the details of multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities simultaneously while maintaining excellent and accurate work
- Multi-Channel marketing and direct response experience, including direct mail and digital
- A passion for leveraging data, metrics and insights to drive results and learnings
