The Role:
The Vice President, Product and Solution Marketing is a strategic role within the marketing organization that manages a team focused strategy, go-to-market, and messaging for all of Outreach’s products, solutions, and platform. This role partners with sales, enablement, product and global marketing to ensure a unified message, accelerate pipeline, increase adoption, and to drive an end-to-end GTM.
Location: Hybrid role based in Seattle preferred but we are open to considering remote applicants as well.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include:

  • Strategy and GTM – Partner with product and sales to bring subject matter expertise, market insights, and customer needs for identifying and sizing new market and white space opportunities as well as sales plays. Inform roadmap development and participate in product prioritization processes to meet customer and sales needs. Lead the launch and release marketing processes to inform internal stakeholders and drive customer adoption of new features and products. · Messaging and Positioning – Create differentiated persona-based messaging, positioning, and storytelling that engages prospects and install base customers and motivates them to purchase. Align the portfolio into an overarching strategy and messaging framework. Translate new features and products into business value propositions. Track competitive moves and develop messaging and assets that differentiate Outreach’s position in the market.
  • Content Strategy and Development–Create compelling customer-facing strategic assets (solution collateral, web content, video, demos) that highlight the value of Outreach solutions on a single platform
  • Analyst and Public Relations – Partner with AR and PR team to engage analysts and influencers to drive positive sentiment and rankings via Magic Quadrants, Waves, inquiries, strategy days, events, and briefings.
  • Sales and Partner Enablement – Partner with sales and sales enablement teams to develop sales plays, campaigns, sales tools, and enablement content. Deliver enablement at the GTM kickoff events and virtually as needed to help drive focus, informed conversations with customers, and deal closure. Develop joint messaging and marketing programs with partners.
  • Thought Leadership – Represent Outreach as key executive in speaking engagements, creating content for blogs and other channels, to communicate differentiated strategies and points of view.
  • Demand Generation Campaigns and Events – Align with demand and awareness teams on messaging and positioning to help them drive programs and demand activities. Inform on key persona targets and provide updates on market changes. Support external events with content and tools we well as presenting in sessions and keynotes. Work with executive team to develop keynote messaging, presentations, and demos
  • Customer Programs – Define, develop and deliver customer-facing engagement programs including early adopter activities, customer advisory boards, etc. Engage with customers to develop messaging-aligned presentations, webinars, events, etc.
  • Strategic Sales Support – Participate in sales and partner engagements to accelerate wins. Present product strategies and roadmaps and inform competitive positioning.
  • People Leadership – Build, grown, retain and drive a a high performing team

Our Vision of You

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of product management or product marketing experience
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS
  • Ability to articulate Outreach products and solutions in terms of customer value and impact on the business and users
  • Exceptional messaging and presentation skills
  • Ability to build relationships and influence outside of authority to align, leverage information, expertise, and resources
  • Results-driven with a growth mindset
  • Able to go from high level, strategic conversations to diving into execution details when needed
  • Experience marketing to sales organizations preferred, but not required.
The base salary range for this role is $220,000 - $310,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
