Job Summary

Reporting to the President of Embedded and Critical Power, the VP of Power PMO & Strategy, will be responsible for both leading the program and project management functions and shaping the corporate strategy of the Power BU. You will drive the development of project management methodologies while advising the BU President on strategic company programs, partnerships, and initiatives. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication capabilities, and a deep understanding of both strategic planning and program management processes.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Program & Project Management:
  • Develop and implement the PMO strategy, framework, and policies to improve project delivery.
  • Create program and project management processes.
  • Lead a team of program and project managers to ensure successful execution of projects.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize projects and allocate resources effectively.
  • Monitor and report project performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in project management practices.
  • Responsible for the entirety of the P/L related to ongoing projects/programs.

Strategic Leadership:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the BU President, to develop and implement strategic company programs and initiatives.
  • Create and deploy new business models aligned with the strategic direction of the company.
  • Review opportunities for growth, M&A, investments, and partnerships.
  • Lead BU M&A activities from identification, due diligence and integration
  • Manage the full integration process – bringing together all department contacts and key stakeholders
  • Integrate with the acquisition companies to help identify key talent and opportunities
  • Oversee the development and execution of the product-strategic plan and lifecycle.
  • Develop business strategies that lead to market leadership and differentiation.

The experience we are looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15 years of experience in program/project management and strategic leadership, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in leading PMOs and managing complex, large-scale projects.
  • P/L experience and strong financial acumen.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Project Place, MS Project, JIRA).
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.

Pay Range (Applicable to US Remote). Due to this role being remote, the actual pay range will vary depending on the geographical location of the candidate

$249,200.00 USD - $342,600.00 USD Annual
