VP of Threat Management

What You'll Do:
The Vice President of Threat Management will lead our global strategy for vulnerability management, threat detection, response, cyber threat intelligence, and proactive threat hunting. This role will be accountable for ensuring the organization is prepared for, and resilient against, evolving cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a high-performing team encompassing Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence, and Threat Hunting.
- Develop and execute the enterprise threat management strategy aligned to business risk priorities.
- Establish and mature threat detection capabilities, leveraging AI/ML where appropriate.
- Oversee real-time threat monitoring, analysis, containment, and as required, recovery activities.
- Partner closely with technology and business teams to embed detection capabilities into products and services.
- Lead major incident response efforts and executive-level incident communications.
- Maintain relationships with external intelligence communities and threat-sharing organizations.
- Own metrics and reporting for threat management effectiveness to executive leadership and the Board.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations related to cybersecurity incidents.
- 12+ years in cybersecurity roles with at least 5+ years of leadership experience in threat management or SOC leadership.
- Proven experience managing global threat management operations and/or incident response at scale.
- Deep understanding of cyber threats, TTPs (tactics, techniques, and procedures), and threat actor behaviors.
- Experience leading high-severity incident responses and executive briefings.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical risk into business terms.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, GCTI, or similar preferred.

The salary range for this position is approximately $200,000-$260,000 base annually. This range reflects our good faith estimate to pay fairly as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
