VP of Product

Facet is on a mission to redefine how financial advice is delivered. As the VP of Product, you will lead an innovative Product team and will oversee both external member-facing products as well as the internal platform that our employees use to service our members. You will be a strategic leader who is equally adept at execution – someone who thrives on delivering high-quality solutions quickly while maintaining a relentless focus on the member experience. You will be process-driven, highly analytical, and have deep go-to-market experience. Most importantly, you will be comfortable being hands-on and will be passionate about building and scaling a world-class product team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Strategic Product Leadership: Execute product strategy for both internal/external platforms ensuring each launch is of the highest quality and aligned to the Facet Brand
- Product Development: Oversee the product development process, including ideation, user research, prototyping, testing, and launch
- High Quality Execution: Drive high-quality product execution, delivering beautiful, intuitive, and impactful products within promised timeframes with a target NPS of 80+
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and scale a top-tier product team capable of executing at the highest level. Be willing to dive into the details, troubleshoot, and work directly with teams to ensure successful execution
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer support teams to deliver cohesive, integrated products that delight both members and employees
- Member-Centric Focus: Ensure that the voice of the member is central to all product decisions, creating experiences that anticipate and exceed their needs
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage AI, analytics, and data science to inform product development and decision-making, optimizing for both performance and user satisfaction
- Go-to-Market Expertise: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operational teams to ensure seamless go-to-market strategies and consistent messaging
- Process and Efficiency: Establish product development processes that drive efficiency, speed, and collaboration across teams
Requirements
The ideal candidate for the VP of Product will possess:
- 10+ years of experience in product management or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing consumer products
- A proven track record of successfully launching and managing consumer technology products that achieve significant market impact in a hands-on role
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and performance metrics
- Having a passion and grit to be able to complete our mission of making a real difference in the lives of millions of Americans
- Experience scaling an efficient product team
- A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in the FinTech industry is a plus
- A passion for transforming financial services and improving consumer experiences
