The Vice President of Product & Technology drives the product vision and technology strategy that powers Harbor Compliance’s scale and innovation. This executive role leads the Product Management and Engineering teams, ensuring high-ROI roadmap execution, sustainable architecture, and strong cross-functional alignment. The VP balances strategic priorities with executional excellence, enabling top-line growth and operational leverage while maintaining compliance and stability.

Strategic Leadership & Execution

  • Define and lead a unified Product & Technology strategy aligned to company growth goals.
  • Own the product roadmap, balancing innovation with execution, and clarity of focus.
  • Guide high-level product direction with clear prioritization and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align KPIs and department strategy with business objectives.
  • Ensure roadmap investments are grounded in ROI and include clear leading and lagging indicators.

Product Management & Revenue Growth

  • Lead discovery and delivery across the full product lifecycle.
  • Develop AI-related product capabilities in alignment with market opportunities.
  • Strengthen product-market fit through user research, data, and competitive insights.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and CX to build solutions tied to revenue and retention outcomes.
  • Lead M&A product integration with clarity and accountability.

Technology & Engineering Leadership

  • Develop and maintain a scalable, secure, and compliant technology infrastructure.
  • Reduce technical debt and optimize systems for long-term performance.
  • Ensure stability through SLAs, monitoring, and risk mitigation.
  • Drive engineering best practices to deliver high-quality, on-time execution.
  • Oversee technology due diligence and integration for acquisitions.

Financial & Operational Excellence

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking for Product & Technology.
  • Establish clear ROI tracking for all roadmap initiatives.
  • Manage contracts, vendors, and departmental investments.
  • Monitor and report on outcomes, cost efficiency, and contribution to business performance.

Talent Development & Organizational Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing Product & Technology organization with 90%+ A-Players.
  • Develop succession plans and leadership pipelines.
  • Instill a culture of accountability, execution, and innovation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, CX, Operations, and Finance.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years in Product & Technology leadership, including 5+ years in executive roles.
  • Track record of scaling SaaS companies in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
  • Proven success in driving roadmap ROI, cross-functional alignment, and technical scale.
  • Deep experience in agile, product lifecycle management, and systems architecture.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing department performance.
  • Skilled in leading high-growth teams and navigating M&A integrations.

Success Metrics

  • Deliver a product roadmap with ROI exceeding the department’s investment.
  • Meet or exceed roadmap milestones, with clear reporting on outcomes and financial impact.
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver roadmap commitments with measurable impact on growth, scale, and retention.
  • Build and sustain a team of 90%+ A-Players through intentional hiring, development, and accountability.

Compensation: 

Harbor Compliance’s base salary range for this role is listed below. Compensation at the time of offer is based on factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of Harbor Compliance’s total compensation package. Other benefits may include health benefits, flexible paid time off, parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k), and educational reimbursement. Note that the salary range and benefits apply only to U.S.-based candidates.


Harbor Compliance base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:

(Salary range 220,000 - 240,000 USD). Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
