Curotec is a software services company with a focus on building web-based SaaS products, business applications, and robust websites. Our clients lean on us for best-in-class project execution & access to top talent when it comes to their product development and strategic digital initiatives. Our business is broken down into 2 core business units: technologist staffing services(70% of revenue) and product agency services(30% of revenue). We’re a fully remote distributed team, with our primary footprint in LATAM, followed by the US, and South Asia regions. 


As an organization with roughly 80~ team members, this role will involve rolling up your sleeves as well as strategic thinking/planning. You will be an important part of the company's future and a highly trusted leader of the organization. Given the size of our organization, this role will require aspects of both operations leadership with an internal focus and leading strategic client consulting with an external client facing focus.



Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Define the organization's operational vision and strategy in close collaboration with the CEO

  • Oversee all teams across the staffing services and product agency business units

  • Responsibility for the P&L and financial health of the business units

  • Provide leadership to engineering teams, project/account management teams, and operations teams

  • Ensure the organization is meeting or exceeding technology consulting market standards

  • Ensure our proposals and sales presentations are industry-leading

  • Advise the CEO about risk exposures and create risk mitigation plans to lower the exposure of the organization

  • Cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration for all team members, including a growth path and advancement plan for individuals motivated to do so

  • Continuously improve the organization’s ability to deliver solutions to customers both in terms of customer outcomes and efficiency of delivery

  • Advocate and communicate technology capabilities internally and externally, including to leadership, customers, partners, and vendors

  • Assist with hiring new team members

  • Assist the sales team with closing new account opportunities

  • Assist with the annual budgeting, forecasting, and roadmap planning of the organization

  • Assist with the sales, marketing, and go to market strategies of the company



Skills Required:

  • A proven track record of operational leadership excellence 

  • A technical background working with software development teams

  • The ability to understand software architecture at a high level and communicate with technical software engineers

  • A clear understanding of what makes good software, including an eye for UX, and an understanding of development standards

  • The ability to dive into the weeds as well as rise to a high level of thinking as the situation demands

  • People-oriented and confident leadership traits 

  • The ability to persuade stakeholders and instill confidence 

  • Ability to hold self and others accountable

  • A high degree of organization, planning, autonomy, and critical thinking ability 

  • Ability to work well under pressure and solve high-stakes problems

  • The overall health of the P&L

  • QoQ/YoY growth of the company’s revenues and profits

  • Projects meeting budget, profitability, and timeliness goals
