Overview

Cotiviti is a high growth Company seeking a Vice President of HR to lead the Talent Management organization. This opportunity is responsible for creating, evaluating and delivering Human Resources Talent Management strategy for Cotiviti. This individual provides leadership, direction, advice, and oversight for Talent Management including Talent Acquisition and Client HR Business Partnerships. Reporting into the EVP, HR, this position will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day Talent Acquisition and Talent Management operations are running smoothly. Key areas of focus include pipeline management, selection management, university relations, employee engagement, retention, succession planning, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

Drive Business Strategy/HR Integration. 

  • Serve as a key member of the HR leadership team to collaboratively and effectively manage the business, through the development and implementation of an enterprise- wide Human Resources Strategy, consistent with best practices and aligned to the core business strategy.
  • Lead an HR team that provides HR business partner and employee services support to the organization.
  • In partnership with the HR Team, deliver HR services, including employee relations, training & development, compensation, performance management, change management, and strategic support.
  • Manage an annual budget and identify opportunities for achieving reduced costs and increased productivity.
  • Develop effective communications between and among management and employees in order to promote education, inclusiveness and positive morale and ensure that individual and team behaviors and performance are consistent with the business mission, strategies and values.

 

Enable Organizational Execution. 

  • Lead human resources planning efforts that allow senior and executive management to effectively forecast, analyze, and manage talent, thus ensuring that the Company has the right number, type, and quality of employees to execute on business strategies.
  • Influence decisions in employee relations matters pertaining to staffing, assignment changes, compensation, disciplinary action and separations, in a way that supports the business while ensuring consistent and equitable treatment of employees.
  • Proactively lead the development and implementation of Corporate HR policies, procedures, programs and practices that are aligned with business objectives, support the continued growth of the business and comply with local labor laws and employment practices.
  • Oversee the development and management of compensation and benefit programs for all levels of employees.
  • Ensure that all programs are innovative, compliant and delivered in a cost-effective manner to enable the company to meet business goals and retain top performers.

 

Build Organizational Capability.

  • In line with the overall strategy and direction of the business, understand the key competencies required to achieve organizational goals and oversee the creation and implementation of professional development and succession planning programs which will build organizational capability and identify high potential performers.
  • Ensure that the organization has the capabilities to adapt to a changing marketplace and compete through a constant flow of future talent.
  • Ensure that talented individuals are recognized for their contributions.
  • Build leadership bench strength through individual and team feedback, coaching, training and ongoing development.
Provide Leadership to Talent Acquisition and Talent Management:Talent Acquisition
  • Responsible for developing and leading the overall strategy and execution of the Talent Acquisition function for Cotiviti.
  • Provide inspirational leadership while driving innovative and progressive strategy and execution of best practice Talent Acquisition plans, processes, practices, methods and techniques.
  • Work closely with business leaders and HR partners to deliver innovative talent acquisition strategies, technology integration and the infrastructure necessary to effectively acquire talent to meet business needs and ensure Cotiviti is positioned as an employer of choice.
  • Creation and rollout of our employment branding strategy which will include a robust social media component as well as relevant metrics to track success and opportunities.

 

Talent Management and Business Partnership

  • Responsible for developing and leading the overall strategy and execution of the HR Business Partnership (HRBP) team for Cotiviti, who serve as a trusted and collaborative advisor, providing a proactive, practical, and valued HR perspective in partnership with business leadership.
  • Serve as the champion of system-wide HR initiatives, ensuring business functional alignment in support of attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent.
  • In partnership with HRBPs, provide leadership, diagnose, translate, and define current and future business needs into an overall integrated strategic HR plan for the organization.
  • Monitor metrics, external market developments, and HR analytics to diagnose needs throughout both Talent Acquisition and Talent Management.
  • Partner with COE regarding organization-wide compensation strategies, benefit strategies, and HR operations to lead initiatives and strategies as appropriate.
  • Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends in Ensure compliance measures are maintained for all regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Serve as a strategic change agent, demonstrating the ability to influence, negotiate and gain buy-in at all levels within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years relevant experience within a progressive Human Resources environment.
  • A strong history of leading talent acquisition and HR teams, to include managing remote team members.
  • Strong skills in building a team that strengthens relationships, diagnoses issues, advises, influences, and guides leaders on the HR implications of business decisions related to aspects of people-management.
  • Demonstrated self-management of career in HR encompassing a diversity of experiences. In-depth knowledge of human resources trends, market trends, alternative approaches to HR practices (e.g., organizational development, team facilitation, work/life policy, and compensation).
  • Ability to provide expert advice, influencing business decisions impacting and related to all aspects of people management and leadership; serves as a consultant on issues related to strategy execution and change, talent acquisition, talent management, employee engagement, and performance management
  • Experience in driving assimilation in new or acquired business entities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence effectively across the organization, breaking down any existing barriers/resistance to change.
  • A proven track record of leading teams and delivering strategic and operational Human Resources excellence.

  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance.
  • No adverse environmental conditions expected.
  • Some travel required to establish and maintain relationships with appropriate universities.

 

Base compensation ranges from $195,000 per year to $225,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs. This role is eligible for discretionary bonus consideration.
