While remote, the working hours for this role will be EST.
About the Role
- Client Leadership:
- Serve as the Monks lead point of contact with Senior Brand and Media client stakeholders.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the client's business, including strategic priorities, historical performance, competitive threats and opportunities.
- Oversee client’s business, driving innovation results while maintaining continuity
- Ensure senior Monks leadership is proactively engaged in client needs and accurate updates on the health of the relationship regularly provided.
- Track and oversee client scorecards to ensure the team is set up to hit performance goals.
- Team Leadership:
- Oversee the total output of the media teams to ensure delivery of executional and performance excellence at all times.
- Lead the total client media teams in development of go-to-market strategies and media plans informed by rich consumer/industry insights with a laser focus on connecting strategies to outcomes.
- Set client teams up for success by establishing clear vision/goals, identifying opportunities for training, facilitating introductions to cross functional Monks teams, and regularly offering constructive feedback on performance.
- Lead and manage a team of 8 with 2 Sr. Directors as direct reports, ensuring the team is delivering in service of agency and client goals.
- Develop process improvements and best practices to ensure teams deliver consistency, flexibility and efficiency in all their internal and external outputs.
- Relationship Management
- Build relationships with top media platform partners and oversee and oversee client JBP activation.
- Ensure Monks team is engaging with key media partners and providing timely and thoughtful client recommendations grounded in strategy and data.
- Manage effective cross agency partnerships relationships (Creative & Media)
About You
The essentials:
- 10+ years industry experience focused on client service and digital media.
- Eager to forge long-term client partnership fueled by curiosity, data-driven strategies & brand performance outcomes.
- A master of traditional, digital, and social-specific media planning, buying and measurement.
- Experienced in leading and managing growing teams in a high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail across communications and deliverables.
- Not afraid to defect from the status quo in order to make our clients and company more successful.
- BA or equivalent with emphasis on marketing, advertising, or business.
- The working hours for this role will be EST.

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
Salary Range$200,000—$240,000 USD
