Summary:
In this role, you will have responsibility for leading, developing, and engaging a team of Engagement Leaders who ensure delivery excellence through a rapid performance delivery model. This role will focus on building trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders to achieve complex financial improvement KPIs. Additionally, the position is accountable for driving improved provider performance by leveraging data and engaging category experts.
Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Principal Engagement Leaders.
Establish and maintain strong knowledge, awareness, and understanding of Vizient’s Spend Management Partnership Management Methodology.
Measure and manage delivery excellence, guarantee financial performance and ensure customer satisfaction across all Engagement Leader-led accounts.
Provide strategic direction, oversight, and accountability for the delivery of spend management initiatives within the scope of assigned providers.
Build and maintain productive, influential relationships with Category Leaders.
Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, high performance, and ethical behavior.
Ensure that Engagement Leaders are educated and equipped to articulate, coordinate, deliver, and optimize spend management for their assigned providers.
Collaborate with Spend Management category leaders to ensure strategic alignment and strong coordination throughout engagements.
Lead the team to align Vizient’s spend management solutions with documented provider needs, strategic goals, and priorities identified in partnership with the Enterprise Principles (where assigned).
Support internal initiatives focused on process improvement and advocate for the removal of barriers to team success.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred. Master’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
10 or more years of experience in a healthcare-related field including complex services and consulting delivery experience are required.
General management, leadership, and people management experience are required.
Experience working with health system C-Suite providers is required.
Category subject matter expertise preferred in areas of healthcare non-labor expense management, supply chain, pharmacy, medical device, purchased services / indirect spend, and/or capital equipment
Experience working with clinical departments that interact with supply chain preferred.
Trusted advisor, with a strong executive presence and complex business problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $225,400.00 to $394,200.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
