VP Demand Generation

We are looking for a VP of Demand Generation who will be the strategic and operational leader responsible for building and scaling Purple's global demand generation engine. This role demands a data-driven and innovative leader who can design and execute integrated campaigns across multiple channels to drive predictable pipeline growth, expand the existing customer base, and mobilise our partner ecosystem. This individual will lead a high-performing team, manage a significant budget, and be a key stakeholder in shaping Purple's growth trajectory.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy across all channels (ABM, email, paid media, content, SEO/SEM, social, events, partners, etc.).
  • Manage the demand generation budget and allocate resources effectively across different initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the demand generation team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of marketing automation and other demand generation technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, and professional services teams to ensure alignment and maximise pipeline impact.
  • Track, measure, and analyse demand generation performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to the leadership team.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform the demand generation strategy.
  • Develop and implement customer marketing programs to drive upsells, cross-sells, and advocacy.
  • Build and manage engagement with key partners to drive lead generation and revenue growth.

Requirements

Who you are

  • Significant experience in B2B demand generation, with demonstrable experience in a leadership role, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling demand generation programs that deliver measurable results (pipeline growth, lead generation, revenue contribution).
  • Deep understanding of account-based marketing (ABM) principles and best practices. Experience developing and executing successful ABM programs, particularly in the enterprise segment.
  • Deep understanding of the SaaS business model, sales cycles, and marketing dynamics. Experience working with SaaS metrics and analytics.
  • Proven experience developing and executing global marketing campaigns, with a strong understanding of localization best practices.
  • Significant experience working with channel partners, resellers, and referral programs. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective partner marketing strategies.
  • Experience developing and executing customer marketing programs to drive upsells, cross-sells, and advocacy

Highly Desirable Requirements:

  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in marketing, and an ability to explore and implement these technologies.
  • Knowledge of Purple's target market and competitive landscape.

Benefits

  • Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (dependant on experience)
