Voter Engagement Team Lead

PICO California is a multi-racial, multi-faith state network comprising ten local affiliates who organize across 18 counties and represent 500 congregations and nearly 650,000 Californians. Are you passionate about making a difference in the upcoming election? Join us as a Voter Engagement Team Lead! You’ll be crucial in mobilizing thousands of voters across California to ensure their voices are heard by Election Day. Lead a dynamic team, receive comprehensive training, and contribute to a powerful voter engagement program. This is a seasonal position until November 6, 2024.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ years of previous experience in canvassing, phone banking, or campaigns
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Familiarity with communication tools such as Slack, virtual meeting platforms like Zoom and cloud-based systems such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
• Proficient in basic computer typing skills with an understanding of common functions and shortcuts
• Strong commitment to social and racial justice
• Ability to work evenings, Sunday through Thursday (2:30 pm-7:30 pm)
• Reliable internet access (5-10MB download and 5MB+ upload speeds)

Compensation and Benefits 
Based in California, this remote position offers an hourly rate of $25 for up to 30 hours per week. There are no additional benefits associated with this role. You will receive a $20 reimbursement per pay period for using your computer and internet.
