PRIMARY PURPOSE: To develop and provide vocational services as specified by the referral source for individuals with occupational and non-occupational injuries and disabilities. To provide vocational services through multiple platforms such as in person, virtually, telephonically or a combination thereof.
Administer various vocational testing and conduct Vocational Evaluations.
Provide Job Seeking Skills Training, developing resumes and interview preparation.
Oversee Job Search activities and Job Development and Placement Services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews employee/IW current capacities and work history
- Secures NFP location within employee capacities and geographic area
- Completes safety screen for NFP location
- Completes TWP documentation
- Job offer letter
- NFP Job Analysis
- Program agreement
- Time tracking mechanism
- Letter to medical provider
- Communicates with employer specific to NFP placement
- Coordinates and attends (virtually) initial meeting at NFP
- Trains NFP supervisor on employee capacities and expectations
- Calls into NFP meeting to review placement documentation
- Oversees modified duty work at NFP site
- Documents all activity in case management claims system
- Collaborates with other members of the RTW Team to move to full duty RTW
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), or Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS), or Certified Case Manager (CCM). Highly desired certification is the CRC or CVE.
Experience
Four (4) yearsā experience in job placement and development involving participants with occupational and/or non-occupational injuries or disabilities to include ā¦
