About the Position
The Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides speech and language therapy services to students in an online learning environment. This role involves evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized therapy plans while collaborating with educators and families to support student success.
Note: This position's responsibilities will primarily be done remotely. Additionally, this position may act as a Substitute or Guide for our in-person Adventures program, school club leader, or grading assistant during the school year.

1) Assessment and EvaluationConduct virtual speech and language assessments using standardized tools.Interpret evaluation results to determine eligibility for speech and language services.Prepare detailed evaluation reports and communicate findings with parents and school teams.
2) Individualized Therapy and InterventionDevelop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and treatment plans tailored to student needs.Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy sessions via Zoom.Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
3) Collaboration and CommunicationCollaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to align therapy goals with classroom instruction.Participate in IEP meetings and provide updates on student progress.Maintain regular communication with families to support carryover of strategies at home.
4) Documentation and ComplianceMaintain accurate and timely documentation of services, assessments, and student progress.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and school-specific guidelines related to special education services.Uphold student privacy in accordance with FERPA and HIPAA regulations.
5) Technology Integration and Professional DevelopmentUtilize digital tools and platforms effectively to enhance remote service delivery.Stay current with best practices in teletherapy and speech-language pathology.Participate in virtual trainings and professional learning communities.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
- Valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience delivering speech-language services in an educational setting; prior experience with virtual or teletherapy service delivery is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and intervention strategies across age groups.
- Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms, digital assessment tools, and online documentation systems.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating effectively in a virtual team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet compliance deadlines and service requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations and tailor services to meet individual needs.
Compensation and Schedule
- $80,000 - $90,000 annual salary
- Start date: July 15th, 2025
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday for 10 months per year, less hours during summer months

Expected Working Conditions
- Expected working hours: Monday through Friday, generally 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM MST. Some flexibility may be required based on student scheduling or IEP meeting times.
- Fully remote work environment with a required reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
- Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods
- Occasional attendance at virtual meetings or professional development sessions outside of regular hours
