Reports to: Associate Director, Creative Strategy

What You Will Do:

The Video Editor supports VaynerCommerce’s Creative Strategy teams by executing high-level video editing and motion graphics for social platforms. The Video Editor will work closely with Creative Strategists and Senior Editors to translate data-driven briefs into incredibly dynamic, engaging video and static advertisements that pull consumer attention and drive conversion/purchases. What We're Looking For:

• A video editor with a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and watchability. 
• An eye for design and composition with the ability to combine footage and text in dynamic and digestible ways. 
• A self starter with the ability to come up with new creative ideas based on strong social trends.
• Strong time management skills with a fundamental understanding of how long things take and how to effectively communicate this.
• Strengths in conceptualizing based on creative learnings, data, and feedback to create the best-performing content.
• Working knowledge of Figma and/or other static creative platforms.
• Able to collaborate and bring to the table new creative ideas and editing techniques.
• A self starter who is willing to take big creative swings to try and find big creative wins!
• The ability to follow briefs while simultaneously trying new editing techniques and creative formats. 

Experience / Knowledge Required:

• 2-5+ years of professional editing experience, with a demonstrable passion for making creative on social first platforms. 
• Professional level of proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite. With an emphasis on Premiere Pro. 
• Working knowledge of Figma and After Effects.
• Additional experience with any of the following is a plus:
• AI Tools to maximize creative output and workflows. 
• Discovering Social Trends
• UGC producer who can shoot content on their own of products for our brands.

Interests

• Passionate about content creation and the latest trends on social and tools in post-production. 
• Desire to learn about direct to consumer marketing and combining data-driven results with sleek and professional aesthetics. 
• Engaged with social media platforms and current trends.
