What you will be doing:

The Vice President, Strategic Sourcing Operations and Analytics is responsible for leading all aspects of operations and analytics across Strategic Sourcing to support optimum pricing and contracting strategies, state of the art technology solutions, enhanced market basket processes supporting member recruitment and retention, member engagement and strategic initiative support and development for Premier. The Vice President will be the strategic and operational leader responsible for determining best alignment of People, Process, and Technology, and how to execute on requirements for Strategic Sourcing and other areas Premier.

The Vice President will lead all the teams l mentioned above and inclusive of both the national and performance group categories and contracts. Under this Vice President’s direction  the teams will deliver on-time completion of high-quality products that lead to overall portfolio and member growth. Enabled by business intelligence tools and other IT resources, this position will focus on continuity and standardization of analytics deliverables, reports, tools and processes across Strategic Sourcing, including developing and implementing operational and technology strategies designed to improve cost performance, value analysis, resource utilization, and internal customer satisfaction.

The Vice President will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely materials to support all areas of Strategic Sourcing including new and innovative programs and initiatives.

Work Experience:

Years of Applicable Experience - 12 or more years

Education:

Bachelors


 

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant Experience to include:

  • SQL and Microstrategy expertise
  • BI certification (e.g. Tableau, Qlik)
  • MCSD/MCAD certification
  • CPSM, CMRP

Education:

Masters

Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $155,000 - $289,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
