Vice President, Professional Services

About the Role

InvestCloud is looking for a Vice President within its Professional Services Division. The role is a strategic hire and will be accountable for the successful delivery and oversight of a number of high profile client project deliveries. The role will report directly to the Head of Professional Services, APL and will be a key member of the PS leadership team. This role will lead a team of senior program and project managers in driving transformative change in project management processes. This role focuses on reshaping how programs and projects are managed, embedding streamlined, scalable, and innovative methodologies to deliver consistent value across the organization.

This role will also drive the transformation of how interfaces between custodians, asset managers, and sponsors are defined and delivered. This role requires a leader who can not only transition the team from manual, ad-hoc integration approaches to scalable, productized, and automated solutions but also foster a cultural shift toward innovation, standardization, and operational excellence.

What does a great Vice President do?

A successful Vice President ensures strategic projects/programs are effectively completed for both internal initiatives and our clients. Consistently provides the program leadership perspective to deliver projects on-time to meet internal and client expectations. The role of Vice President is a player manager role, requiring the successful candidate to operate in the detail of a client delivery and manage messaging and strategic priorities internally and the clients.

You will play a pivotal role in reshaping the team's mindset and practices, embedding a culture that embraces change, prioritizes efficiency, and consistently delivers high-value, repeatable integration solutions.

How you will provide meaningful contributions:

• Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple strategic projects and programs.
• Define and implement project management strategy for Professional Services, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and market needs.
• Ensure tight control of scope, budget and resources across the delivery portfolio
• Partner with other teams to deliver projects that achieve the desired scope, are technically sound, operationally supportable, and meets the requirements of the business.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Platform teams and be an advocate for client delivery
• Oversee and manage multiple strategic projects simultaneously.
• Engage in a broad spectrum of projects from external client deliverables to internal strategic objectives.
• Opportunity to influence evolution of Professional Services by collaboratively engaging with teams across the company including Senior Leadership.
• Spearhead the shift from bespoke, manual integration methods to scalable, reusable, and automated interface delivery models.
• Partner with stakeholders to design and implement a productized framework for delivering standardized interfaces.

Team Leadership and Development:

•  Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of highly skilled senior program and project managers to achieve excellence in execution and develop best practices across Professional Services
•  Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and proactive problem-solving within the team.
•  Support professional growth through coaching, knowledge sharing, and development opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with senior leadership to define and prioritize strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
•  Serve as the primary liaison between the PS team and key stakeholders, facilitating communication and resolving challenges.

Change Management and Cultural Evolution:

• Lead cultural change initiatives to embed a mindset of innovation, efficiency, and adaptability across PS and broader organization.
• Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• 15+ years of experience in project and program management, including 5+ years in a leadership role managing senior professionals.
• 10+ years of experience managing large scale, global software implementation projects within financial services
• Superior communication skills (written and verbal) to facilitate client and team discussions, presentations, and leadership meetings ensuring accurate documentation
• Understanding of infrastructure components and technologies
• Experience leveraging various SDLC methodologies with product centric focus
• Strong ability to use Smart Sheet, Atlassian suite, and Power BI to manage and report on project milestones.
• Ability to influence resources to deliver their commitments to projects on-time.
• Detailed oriented towards project scope and ensuring scope is managed from drift.
• Ability to learn quickly new concepts and technologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence across all levels of the organization.
• Continuously evaluate and refine PS processes to improve delivery speed, quality, and alignment with evolving business needs.

Preferred Skills / Experience

• Fintech and cloud-based SaaS experience
• Experience in team leadership and managing direct and matrixed teams
• Excellent client management skills
• Deep understanding of Project Management best practices, project lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), and governance frameworks.
• Expertise in using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet) and implementing digital solutions for project management.
• Expertise in APIs, data integration, and workflow automation technologies.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location. Salary range: $200,000 - $260,000
