A Brief Overview
The Vendor Management Representative is responsible for day-to-day vendor management activities, including maintenance of vendor monitoring activities, and reporting and maintaining vendor documentation. The Representative will collaborate with vendor relationship managers and will need strong communication and time management skills.
What you will do
- Participate in the annual vendor review process and compliance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Bank Service Company Act, and FDIC guidelines for managing third-party risk
- Collaborate with vendor relationship managers to ensure and promote effective communication, vendor performance, service delivery, and ongoing relationships
- Maintain and enhance the image repository of all vendor related documents
- Receive and review all new vendor due diligence information for completeness and accuracy
- Onboard new vendors into the vendor tracking system and set appropriate review requirements based on the vendor risk rating and program requirements
- Enter data and track newly established and existing vendor relationships
- Monitor Vendor Management email box to ensure requested are being reviewed in timely manner
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
- Understand and comply with all provisions of the Safety in the Workplace policy
Minimum Requirements
- Entry-level job with little or no prior relevant work experience in the function
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to balance multiple projects and tasks while meeting agreed upon objectives and target dates
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Frequently remains stationary throughout a typical business day
- Frequently operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
- Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other rooms
- Occasionally positions self to access drawers and shelves of various heights
- Frequently reaches for and handles paperwork and files
- Constantly communicates with customers, coworkers, and management in-person and on the phone
- Must be able to exchange accurate information
- FirstBank does not currently offer fully remote positions, except as required by law. The actual number of in-office days that may be required will vary by business unit, role, and business need.
Salary Range
$20.00 Per Hour to $25.00Per Hour
