This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work. Remote employees are expected to have a dedicated, quiet and distraction-free work space and an internet connection that’s sufficient for completing their job remotely.

Job Summary

Under general direction, the Vendor Management Analyst (VMA) acts as a primary point-of-contact between the Company and its vendor partners. This position will be responsible for facilitating training, supporting, and monitoring our programs with vendor partners. The VMA acts as a liaison between internal cross-functional teams and vendors. The VMA works with process owners (internal and external) to maintain and improve performance through efficient and effective use of resources.  The VMA develops, distributes and audits reports to track vendor and/or process performance and assist in developing benchmarks for future project implementation.  The VMA also assists in evaluating and implementing champion/challenger strategies between competing vendors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Direct oversight of vendors and counsel in support of the Replevin process. 
  • Provides support for vendor partners as primary/initial point of contact, evaluates and resolves escalated accounts, provides training to integrate vendors into HDFS’ business model and culture to create a seamless experience for our customers.
  • Makes recommendations to management regarding administrative fee reconciliation and vendor reporting process. 
  • Responsible for establishing KPI’s related to vendor and counsel performance, creating functional and operational reports and dashboards to measure and monitor performance against KPI’s.
  • Facilitate updates on a regular cadence to management providing essential information to manage the business; prepares and delivers vendor performance reviews to leadership and vendors. 
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement between vendors and HDFS develops action plans with management for positive change. Recommends procedure changes to improve productivity and cost savings. 
  • Responsible for the completion of tasks pertaining to legal matter filings including, but not limited to, the signing and/or notarization of affidavits and bonds.
  • Responsible for completing special projects to drive strategic initiatives within and across the organization that require creativity and innovative ideas to transform status quo activities; works directly with internal cross-functional teams to explain and clarify business requirements, prioritize business requests, and review the status of work being performed. 
  • Identify opportunities for improvement between vendors and HDFS and develop action plans with management for positive change. Investigates/resolves and/or implements solutions to work related problems, as required. May utilize tools such as Business Objects, Dun & Bradstreet and similar web sites to assist in the due diligence process.
  • Uses effective time management to ensure customer service experience is satisfactory and meets expectations.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Education Specifications

High School/GED Required.

Preferred

  • Experience with data repositories such as Business Objects
  • Advanced at using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
