Key Lime Interactive (KLI) seeks a qualified and dynamic User Experience Research Coordinator to join our incredible team!

We are known for helping Fortune 500 companies understand their user’s needs by mapping out their customers’ journeys, developing behavioral personas, usability testing, and co-designing new products with the user top of mind using proven research methodologies.

The Research Coordinator supports the research team with recruitment, scheduling, and logistics. They are also responsible for learning about KLI’s methodologies and UX approach, recruiting and equipment setup, supporting syndicated research, and vendor management.


Below is a list of primary responsibilities for this position. Additional responsibilities not listed below may be required on an as-needed basis.  The employee must be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment on matters of significance to KLI.  Those areas are outlined below.


You may be required to occasionally work irregular hours, nights, and weekends as needed, but this is a part-time position working no more than 30 hours a week.


General Accountabilities:

Project Related Tasks (90%+):  

As a UX Research Coordinator, you are expected to: 

  • Programming recruiting questionnaires

  • Recruit participants using 3rd party tools

  • Vetting participants

  • Scheduling and confirming participants

  • Supporting lead researchers, as needed

  • Setting up logistics for fielding

  • Participant Profile/Demographics slides in reports

  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment on matters of significance to KLI, including but not limited to: 

    • Identifying and selecting 3rd party vendors

    • Identifying and selecting participants

    • Creating drafts of study materials


In this role, you will work on these skills: 

  • Supporting role (“legwork”), being comfortable with recruiting logistics and note-taking

  • Growing exposure to the research process and various research methodologies


From a UX tooling perspective, you should be:

  • Familiar with G Suite

  • Learning how to use recruiting tools


Thought Leadership (10%): 

  • Complete quarterly rocks on time

  • Submit a minimum of one blog article per quarter (min 4/year)

  • Attend and participate in Key Lime or Usability-related events when asked


Job Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in a related field. Completion of UX Certificate like IronHack, Flatiron, General Assembly, or similar online course may be considered.

  • Minimum Experience: None

  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree, preferred fields of education: Statistics, Human Factors, HCI, Industrial Engineering, Anthropology, Social Psychology, Marketing (Research) or Master’s Degree/MBA. 

  • Preferred Experience: 1 Year or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
