This position is fully remote and requires candidates to be residing in and authorized to work in the United States; those residing in the following states will be given preference: FL, IL, MD, MI, MN, PA, TX, WI. Candidates should be able to reliably work CST hours.


About this Role

Glorious is a lifestyle gaming hardware company, built by passionate enthusiasts on a mission to change the status quo of the gaming industry. Since 2014 we've provided gaming hardware and accessories engineered for elite-level performance, premium quality, and high-end aesthetics.

We are currently seeking a UX Designer to join our Creative Marketing team. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the Glorious user experience, both online and in our Glorious CORE software. Ideal candidates will have deep experience with UX design, customer journey mapping, and user research and usability testing.

This position reports to the Lead UI/UX Designer. The person in this role will work closest with their manager and the UI Designer, but will ultimately collaborate with all members of our broader Marketing team. They will also work cross-collaboratively with our Product Marketing and Engineering teams.

Compensation

The starting annual salary for this role is $65,000-67,000 depending on knowledge, skills, experience, and education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, and present UI mockups, wireframes, and/or prototypes of new areas of functionality or proposed improvements to the Glorious website or Glorious CORE software
  • Work closely with the UI Designer to translate user insights and internal feedback into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
  • Create detailed customer journey maps to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement across the website and Glorious CORE
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to collect insights, confirm design decisions, and refine our UX strategy
  • Advocate for an improved user experience by sharing thought process and research findings with team members and/or leadership
  • Champion user-centered design principles, and act as an advocate for the needs of Glorious customers with each update to the website or Glorious CORE
  • Build a deep understanding of brand guidelines, and uphold and contribute to design systems, and usability best practices
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Marketing, and Engineering to foster alignment on design objectives, maintain comprehensive customer personas, and drive consistency across all customer and user touchpoints
