Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) portion of NGEN, the Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Job Summary:

Leidos is seeking an intern to support User Support Services as part of the Operations team. The candidate will assist with the organization and management of awarded positions to bring about the successful completion of SMIT – User Support Services goals and objectives. Duties may include ensuring that all programs run within scope, time, and budget constraints.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Interface with CLIN Project Manager, Resource Managers, Customer Advocacy Managers, and designated Proposal and Contract contacts to ensure CLIN labor staffing is delivered on time and within budget constraints
  • Monitor funding end dates, flag positions that are at risk of expiring
  • Review newly awarded or renewed task orders and assist with necessary updates
  • Provide ad hoc reporting on staffing as required

Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizen required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at the junior/senior level in related field of study
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented

  • Ability to manage and prioritize own work
  • Analytical thinking; thinking out of the box
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all organizational levels (SME to Senior Management)

Pay Range:

Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00
