What you'll do...

At Walmart, we take pride in being the most trusted retailer. A critical path to building that trust is ensuring that we are taking the proper steps to identify, mitigate, and monitor compliance risks in the supply chain.

As leader of the Supply Chain Compliance Services Technology & Innovation team, you will be responsible for systems development, integration into business platforms, and organization of data in support of supply chain and sourcing compliance. This coordination increases visibility to supply chain entities, including upstream origins, suppliers, factories, and farms. It also enables enhanced systematic controls to help prevent risks among a variety of supply chain compliance areas, for example Responsible Sourcing, Trade Compliance, Global Sanctions, and Food Safety.

You’ll make an impact by…

Coordinating the advancement of systems and technology priorities across Responsible Sourcing, Trade Compliance, Global Sanctions, and Food Safety subject matters, particularly as related to our upstream supply chain. Developing supply chain compliance capabilities through improvements in compliance systems, integration into business platforms, and collaboration with the IROCC, Global Governance Digital Acceleration, and Walmart Tech. Evaluating, testing, and implementing new and emerging technologies with the potential to enhance supply chain risk identification and mitigation, for example DNA tracing, blockchain, and AI-enabled supply chain network mapping tools.

  • You have experience coordinating successful projects between technology partners and project customers.

  • You excel at identifying dependencies and leveraging opportunities for connectivity between systems, technology projects, and data sources.

  • You have experience assessing internal and external technical tools and service offerings to determine the best solution for meeting intended project outcomes.

  • You are organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • You have experience with supply chain compliance programs and working in global cross-functional teams.

  • You are never satisfied and always striving for continuous improvement.

  • You have knowledge of (or interest in) how Walmart buys, sources, and imports products, but recognize that the way we do this around the world is changing fast.
