Performance Trust Capital Partners is seeking an Analyst to join our Underwriting Operations team. We are looking for an innovative self-starter who is comfortable in a complex role that interfaces regularly with 3rd party vendors, trade support teams, and clients. This individual will collaborate with multiple departments, provide daily support on a variety of new issue products, and participate in projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing and improving processes on behalf of a multifaceted and growing sales and trading organization. The role will report directly to our Vice President of Underwriting Operations and will offer exposure across the firm.


Description


The Underwriting Operations Analyst will collaborate remotely with traders and outside parties to ensure new issue data and information is in good working order. In addition, this person will: 

  • Promptly review and complete open items daily for all in-progress deals
  • Monitor team inbox for new requests intra-day
  • Communicate effectively with traders, sales teams, and outside parties to complete deal requirements
  • Prepare and send required documentation to issuers for new issue CDs; review completed docs and work with issuer to ensure all forms are completed accurately and in good order.
  • Maintain deal folder organization for record-keeping compliance
  • Work on various projects and initiatives aimed to enhance efficiencies and regulatory compliance.
Requirements

Skills, Experience & Qualifications 


  • Detail-Oriented, excellent communication, problem solving and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, remote team, collaborative environment
  • Experience working in financial services at a broker dealer is a plus
  • Client-facing experience, prior experience working with Sales team members is a plus
  • Experience in a Middle Office or Operations capacity is a plus
  • FINRA SIE & Series 7 licensed (or must obtain license within reasonable time of employment)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (sorting and filtering data, V-Lookups, Pivot Tables)
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
