Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Aid in developing an IEEE 1855 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) capable Local Area Network (LAN) for synchronous measurement of audio events across multiple devices on the network. Audio measurements will be used to triangulate the location of detected audio events.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Setup and configure LAN with PTP compatible components
- Configure network devices for PTP synchronization
- Synchronously record audio across multiple devices
- Configure routine uploading of audio data from PTP LAN to remote HPC server
- Develop software for triangulation of audio events

Minimum Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity
- Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
