Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
The Department of Chemical and Mechanical Engineering at the University of North Dakota invites applications for an undergrad student part-time temporary research assistant in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering to work under the supervision of Dr. Yun Ji and Dr. Surojit Gupta.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in materials processing
- Assist in process simulation
- Assist with experimental design
- Assist with testing, data processing, and publishing

Minimum Requirements
- Must have demonstrated excellence in Aspen Plus simulation and a fundamental understanding of Chemical Engineering process
- Sophomore or Junior in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in Aspen Plus simulation and Materials Processing
- Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
