Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. This 18 - 20 week intra-semester internship will be in Amgen global supply chain (GSC) with a 10 - 15 hour per week commitment broken between the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 academic semester (Sept 30, 2024 - March 3, 2025). Amgen GSC’s mission is to enable growth and maximize ​profitability by partnering across the value chain, balancing agility and efficiency, while ensuring quality and service and provide Amgen with world-class planning, procurement, warehousing, and distribution services that deliver a competitive advantage.​

With the support of their hiring manager, the intern will develop a strategy that may result in a meaningful change to the business. Using their analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills, the intern will work cross-functionally to clarify the problem, measure the current state, and develop recommendations through qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Basic Qualifications

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergrad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

  • 18 years or older
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
  • Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing
  • Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university
  • Must not be employed at the time the internship starts
  • Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship OR co-op
