Undergrad Intern - R&D Talent & Culture

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. This internship is 12 weeks and will be an integral member of R&D’s Talent and Culture team, part of R&D’s Strategy and Operations (RDSO) organization. Are you interested in talent development or curious about how talent development programs operate behind the scenes? Do you have strong people skills and the desire to support other’s growth? This internship provides an opportunity to support our Research and Development Early Career talent development program, Accelerating Talent Breadth. This dynamic opportunity is focused on enhancing and expanding our internal talent development strategies and programs. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement, being agile with evolving needs, and delivering programs and offerings to strengthen the culture of R&D. Key areas of focus include (but not limited to):
- Communications and change management
- Stakeholder management
- Project management / Administrative tasks
This internship includes project-based and experiential learning opportunities. This job description serves as a general outline for the responsibilities of an undergraduate intern in R&D’s Talent and Culture Team. The specific tasks and requirements may vary depending on the organization and its projects.

Basic Qualifications
Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergrad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:
- 18 years or older
- Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
- Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing
- Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university
- Must not be employed at the time the internship starts
- Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship OR co-op
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree concentration(s) in Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Management, Communications, or a similar field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and a willingness to learn.
- Adaptability in navigating and optimally responding to ambiguity and evolving circumstances and priorities.

The base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $24.70 - $28.30 per hour.
