UI/UX Manager (REMOTE)

This role is on the Software Engineering team at Stryker Medical division’s Acute Care business unit.We primarily work with patient handling and patient care equipment within the hospital space such as stretchers, hospital beds, and support surfaces. This role falls under the team addressing the high acuity market, with a focus on products that often come into direct contact with patient. It includes gaining a deep understanding of the customer needs through research and partnership with upstream marketing and also through direct interactions with customers. Working with a diverse team, you will be responsible for owning and implementing the UI/UX software across multiple product lines.
What You Will Do:
Drive talent acquisition, development, and retention while fostering personal/professional growth and delivering high-quality results with energy and passion.
Mentor others to achieve positive outcomes in technical, business, and personnel challenges through problem-solving and process improvement.
Use strong communication skills to influence and simplify complex business, compliance, and technical concepts for various stakeholders.
Manage financial accountability for the team, including budget creation, projections, and tracking at both project and business unit levels.
Partner with customers and internal / external key opinion leaders (KOLs) to develop technical strategies that meet clinical / business needs.
Collaborate on financial / business modeling and contribute to strategy and execution for one or more product segments / business function.
Understanding of the user interface design solution and ability to convert it into software front end code.
Proficiency in the design, development, installation, and testing of front-end applications/user interface elements.
Ability to translate creative software design concepts and ideas into reality using front end technology.
What You Need (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS)
8+ years of work experience, plus a Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering or applicable technical field.
(PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)
2+ years of people management experience preferred.
Expertise in one or more technical/functional disciplines, with the ability to mentor.
Skilled performance coach, providing actionable feedback and setting clear objectives.
Knowledge of the healthcare market and competitors.
Ability to communicate complex plans and technical info to team members.
Proven track record of delivering programs on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
$129,600-$286,500 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
