The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.
Job Responsibilities:
- Translate Figma mockups into responsive HTML and CSS components compatible with React and Blazor frameworks.
- Implement interactive and functional components with React and Blazor.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure seamless integration of UI components into React and Blazor applications.
- Create clean, reusable, and maintainable HTML, CSS and JavaScript code, adhering to best practices for performance and accessibility.
- Implement pixel-perfect user interfaces that match Figma designs, ensuring consistency across browsers and devices.
- Optimize CSS for responsive design, providing an adaptive user experience on various screen sizes and resolutions.
- Integrate UI animations and transitions to enhance interactivity and align with the visual design in Figma.
- Customize bootstrap theme to create consistence brand experience.
- Leverage modern CSS frameworks and techniques, like Flexbox and CSS Grid, to create dynamic layouts in React and Blazor.
- Conduct cross-browser testing and debugging to ensure consistent functionality and appearance.
- Work closely with front-end developers to connect UX components with business logic and state management.
- Establish and enforce component architecture patterns, ensuring consistency and scalability
- Create and maintain comprehensive component documentation and usage guidelines
- Create and maintain component storybooks for design reference
- Mentor developers on component usage and best practices and review implementations across teams
- Maintain a design system (style guide) and reusable component library (storybook), ensuring design consistency across projects and teams.
Education and/or Training:
- Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s preferred.
Relevant Work Experience:
- 8+ years’ experience in UI Engineering
- 5+ years of professional HTML, CSS and JavaScript development
- 3+ years of React development in production environments
- 2+ years of experience with design systems
- Demonstrated experience with component library development
- History of solving complex UI engineering challenges
- Expert knowledge of React and its ecosystem
- Ability to translate design requirements into technical solutions
- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with component design systems, dynamic theming and storybook.
- Proficiency in CSS, SASS/LESS, and modern styling approaches
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and implementations
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
- Familiarity with state management solutions
- Version control (Git) expertise

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $81,210.00 - $117,760.00 USD annually for full time employees.
