University Health Services (UHS) is the UW-Madison student health center, with a mission to enhance learning and student success by promoting, and restoring health and wellbeing. Located at 333 East Campus Mall across from Gordon Dining and along Madison Metro Route 80, UHS provides high-quality care, prevention, mental health services, while committed to supporting students, employees, and other guests from diverse backgrounds. The UHS Budget & Finance office provides accounting, budget and financial services, and policy analysis to department operations.Anticipated Start Date:

Position Summary/Job Duties:
UHS Budget & Finance is seeking highly organized candidates for up to two student employee office assistant positions. Students will provide front desk office support of day-to-day office administration and assist finance staff with additional tasks including but not limited to:
• Provide professional customer service in person and over the phone to student, staff and other guests, answering questions or assisting with concerns as they arise
• Data entry and filing
• Receive and process student, staff and faculty electronic and cash payments for UHS services
• Operate a cash register/POS system to process computer transactions quickly and accurately
• Assist staff with projects as needed
• Create, maintain, and update current student employee files and procedures
