Job Summary:

The Treasury Analyst will assist in the day-to-day management of the company’s treasury functions, including cash management, forecasting, liquidity analysis, and investment strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial markets, banking relationships, and financial risk management. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Management:
    • Monitor daily cash position and liquidity levels to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs.
    • Coordinate cash transfers and bank account balances to optimize cash flow.
    • Manage short-term investments and coordinate with bankng partners for liquidity needs.
  • Cash Forecasting:
    • Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to support operational and strategic planning.
    • Analyze cash requirements for various departments and ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Banking Relationships:
    • Assist in managing relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
    • Evaluate banking products and services, negotiate terms, and recommend solutions to optimize banking fees and services.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare regular reports on cash positions, forecasts, and liquidity status for management and senior leadership.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial and treasury-related reports for auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.
    • Partner with our third-party vendor to manage unclaimed property and escheatment procedures and reporting.
  • Risk Management:
    • Assist in identifying and mitigating financial risks related to cash, interest rates, and investments.
    • Monitor and manage hedging strategies in alignment with corporate risk management policies.
  • Debt & Investment Management:
    • Assist in monitoring and managing the company’s debt obligations, including interest payments and refinancing activities.
    • Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities for excess cash to optimize returns.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements in cash management, treasury operations, and reporting.
    • Assist with the implementation of treasury management systems or tools to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience). High School Diploma required.
  • Experience:
    • 2-4 years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting, preferably within a corporate or financial services environment.
    • Strong understanding of financial markets, cash management, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, advanced functions).
    • Familiarity with Workday.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with various departments.
  • Preferred:
    • Treasury certification (e.g., CTP) or CPA is a plus.

FLSA Status: Salaried / Exempt

National Salary Range: $55,970 - $87,230
