The Team

The ALM Treasury team is critical to managing financial risk for Kraken and helping to drive superior results for the business. As an Analyst, you’ll enhance balance sheet analytics and reporting through database connectivity and automation; create effective dashboards for management; and collaborate across business lines to develop deep product knowledge and understand product risk.


The Opportunity

  • Develop and maintain management reporting for balance sheet analytics, risk (liquidity, market, and credit), and investments

  • Develop and maintain liquidity stress tests and models

  • Integrate cash flow and liquidity reporting in TMS 

  • Enhance liquidity and ALM reporting at the legal entity level

  • Participate in cross functional working groups to design and evolve balance sheet costing frameworks and capital allocation methodologies

  • Assist in Committee and Board presentations

  • Assist with counterparty due diligence and onboarding

  • Collaborate with Treasury disciplines and organizational partners to ensure data alignment and quality assurance

  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned

Skills you should HODL

  • 3+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree with credentials in finance, economics, and/or quantitative field 

  • Advanced knowledge of data and database structures and API/backend connectivity, BIS analytics, statistical models

  • Advanced quantitative and presentation skills, with attention to detail and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Apps, SQL, R, Python, Tableau and ability to work with large volumes of data …
