We are in search of a Transportation Electrification (TE) Engineer to join our diverse and fast-paced organization. As a core team member, you will be interacting with other disciplines, playing a valuable part in leading and designing infrastructure projects in the zero-emission mobility and transportation electrification. The Challenge:

  • Provide electrical engineering design for electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects from conceptual design through construction packages, which includes site plans, single lines, construction details, specifications, and calculations
  • Coordinate with civil/structural engineer to provide complete designs
  • Coordinate with utilities and permitting agencies
  • Attend site visits and client meetings to discuss existing facilities
  • Access fleet conversion opportunities and feasibility
  • Interface with the customer to identify project/scope needs and communicate engineering solutions
  • Write technical scopes of work for subcontractors
  • Write detailed technical approach descriptions to be included in proposal client submissions
  • Provide input on project and construction estimating at various phases
  • Attend and participate in client, contractor, and vendor meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

What you will bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program with two (2+) plus years of relevant experience to include experience in transportation electrification and/or facility distribution systems
  • Strong knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures
  • Previous experience using and designing to NFPA 70 (NEC)
  • Experience with designing electrical systems including: facility distribution systems, 600 VAC and below, building and site lighting
  • Experience in vehicle electrifications and/or zero emission mobility
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills
  • Ability to perform quality reviews for detailed engineering documents and specifications
  • Ability to travel
  • U.S Citizen and able to pass Security Background Clearance

It would be nice if you had:

  • Two plus (2+) of relevant experience to include experience in transportation electrification
  • Experience in vehicle electrifications and/or zero emission mobility
  • Experience designing DoD and other Federal Government projects
  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering is a plus

Pay Range:

Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
