Are you passionate about empowering teams through training and development? We’re looking for a Training Manager to lead engaging product, process, and skill development training for operational and commercial staff, clients, and members. Reporting to the Director of Operations Enablement, you’ll play a key role in onboarding operations staff and ensuring seamless product release readiness. Candidates with previous experience in SaaS, health care industry with knowledge of employee benefits, self-funded employer groups, TPAs, broker dynamics, and PBM landscape highly preferred.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Partner cross functionality with internal business partners and subject matter experts to translate processes, products, and related business priorities into learner-centric designs.
  • Ensure that internal audiences are enabled, engaged and able to develop critical skills and knowledge for the Health Plan Administration suite of products and services.
  • Create and facilitate on-boarding & professional skill development programs for roles across Client Operations, Client Solutions and Client Success departments, including:
    • Multi-modal learning, measuring effectiveness, and continuous improvement
    • Pathways to growth and promotion within and across functional areas
  • Measure against key performance indicators and metrics for each functional area.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Documentation and Process Management teams to ensure training includes related end-to-end documentation - from technical interface to user experience – and is clearly outlined and defined.
  • Manage the creation, execution, and hosting of external/client-facing operational enablement sessions, as needed.
  • Lead training sessions as assigned.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What you bring to the Personify Health team:

 

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in a related field (health plan, healthcare, customer service, business management, operations)
  • Knowledge of employee benefits, self-funded employer groups, TPAs, broker dynamics, benefits administration, stop loss models, payment integrity, analytics, clinical care management, and PBM landscape with previous experience in SaaS, health care industry preferred
  • A minimum of three (3) years professional work experience in training or adult learning, preferably aligned to roles in customer management, operations, customer service and / or project management.
  • A minimum of one (1) year in learning and development, training, instructional design, education or technical writing.
  • Previous experience health care, health/wellness, Software as a Service (SaaS) industry highly preferred.
  • Certification in a process management philosophy (i.e., Six Sigma) desired but not required.

  • Instructional design and/or multi-modal adult/professional teaching and learning tactics.
  • Proficiency with various software applications, including Seismic, Salesforce, Gainsight, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive), virtual meeting platforms (Teams/Zoom).
  • Ability to navigate a dynamic technological environment.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with co-workers and subject matter experts.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges up to $80,000. Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for 10% target bonus/variable compensation as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
